The project was born from a series of spiritual encounters starting in 2003, including a divine question: "Are you prepared to lose everything for my name’s sake?" Over a 21-year journey of testing, loss, and restoration, the film was brought to life as a testimony of faith.

A: Yes. Robert Benjamin’s conviction is based on personal experiences, including witnessing angels guarding his home. He views them as messengers and warriors sent by God—our access to the supernatural world granted through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

A: The film explores the spiritual world (the proximity of angels to humanity) and the natural world (universal challenges like the desire to belong, hardship, romance, finding purpose, and redemption). It poses the dramatic question: Is God and His Angels real?

A: The journey spanned 21 years from the initial inspiration in 2003 to the completion of post-production in September 2025. It survived government funding failures, health challenges, and personal hardships, which Robert Benjamin describes as the "refiner's fire."

He has written and produced several features, including The Ghost (1998) and Lost Souls (2000), both of which premiered on M-Net. Throughout his career, he has worked as a 1st Assistant Director, Line Producer, and Executive Producer on both local and international sets.

A: Desiree is a creative producer who began her journey in the 90s. She worked as an Assistant Director on local and international productions before becoming a Creative Producer at Studio RSA Films. She co-developed the story for Angels: They Are Amongst Us alongside Robert Benjamin.

A: While "RSA" represents our roots in the Republic of South Africa, our vision is global. The company was founded on the conviction that faith-based, high-quality content can be produced in South Africa and exported to a worldwide audience of billions.

A: Inspired by true events, Shadows is a sweeping historical drama/spy thriller that unfolds over 46 years. It explores the complexity of loyalty in a harsh third-world country, rooted in a bond between two friends that began in 1947. The screenplay is complete and ready for production.

A: This is a faith-based drama currently in development. It follows a teenage girl named Jenny who finds an unlikely protector in a lion. The story is a deep exploration of spiritual connection, human mortality, and seeking peace through God during times of loss.

A: It means we reject the casual denigration of faith often seen in modern media. We produce films that honor Christian values and prove that compelling storytelling does not require graphic language or explicit content to be successful.
